Previously, I had been playing around with Xamarin to gain some experience putting together a cross platform mobile app. I had opted for this technology because it was relatively stable and allowed me to use C# and Xaml. However, Firebase doesn’t have great support for C# yet, so I’ve been spending some time learning React Native in order to play around with the functions offered by Firebase.
